If you are booked for a yoga trek to the mountains and have 3 to 4 days spare to spend in Kathmandu, you can join this program. Yoga helps to eliminate unnecessary strain and stress from your body. Yoga is an ancient practice of using the body as a transformation tool. Traditional hatha yoga is about attaining liberation through yoga postures, breathing, and meditation. The yoga practice journey rewards you with physical health benefits, mental calmness, and stress-free life.

This BMS yoga retreat is for beginners to all levels of practitioners. You can learn from our devoted yoga teachers.

This yoga retreat is designed for those who want to explore Kathmandu Valley and at the same time want to rejuvenate their body, mind, and soul with yogic practices. This retreat is scheduled as a 3-night and 4-day yoga and healing retreat. The first day will be your arrival and the fourth day will be your departure day, you will have only one yoga class on those days. The second and third days will be the main retreat days; you will have two yoga classes and one healing session.

From this retreat, you not only get a chance to do yoga asana practice but also relaxing meditation like yoga Nidra meditation. Yoga practice increases vitality and strengthens the entire body.

The pure bliss obtained from the yoga practice can never be explained in words, come practice with us and stay connected with body, mind, and soul.

Day Day 01.: Your Arrival Day

16:30 – 17:30 Yoga class includes some chants, stretching, Surya Namaskar, Yoga asana practice, breathing practice, Meditation

17:45 -18:00 Yoga Nidra Meditation

18:30 -19:00 Dinner

19:00 – 19:15 Silent sitting

19:15 -20:45 Self Study

22:00 Lights out

Day Day 02.: First Main Retreat Day

06:00 Wake up bell, You will be provided with warm drinking water overnight stored in a copper vessel

06:30 Nasal Cleansing

06:45 Herbal Tea

07:15 – 08:45 Yoga class includes some chants, stretching, Surya Namaskar, Yoga asana practice, breathing practice, Meditation

09:00 Breakfast

10:00 -16:00 World Heritage Sites visit of Kathmandu Valley

13:00 Lunch at one of the World Heritage Site

17:00 Herbal Tea

17:30 – 19:00 Yoga Meditation

19:15 -19:45 Dinner (Vegan or Vegetarian)

19:45-20:00 Silent sitting in Vajrasana or whichever way possible

21:00 – 22:00 Personal time for self-study

Day Day 04.: Final Day of Retreat

Do I need to bring my own yoga mat for yoga class?

Generally, we provide yoga mats for your yoga classes. But if you wish to use your own Yoga mat, you can bring it. In yogic science, we know that our very close essentials like yoga mats, and the clothes we wear retain specific energy of us. Sharing those items transmits certain vibes and power too. Your practice mat becomes your home or a place to play with divine energy.
