Trip Overview

Everest Region is a heaven on earth for trekkers, climbers, and Nature lovers. In the Everest view trek, we will trek up to Tengboche which is at an elevation of 3860 meters. Trek will begin from Lukla of the Everest Region. Going not high in the mountains but an amazing view of Mt. Everest and other eye-catching views of the mountains is the great highlight of this trip.

Moreover, you will get to see absolutely incredible, and majestic peaks like Mount Everest, Amadablam, Mount Lhotse, and many more. other than mountains we can see towering and sun-kissed green hills, Amazing landscapes, picturesque Sherpa villages, and vibrant Sherpa culture. Itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu (1350m.)

After you land at Kathmandu Airport, Our BMS representative will welcome and greet you, then drive to the hotel. Once you check in at the hotel, get free relaxation time after your long flight. You will have a trip explanation program in the evening time. Overnight at hotel inclusive of bed and breakfast.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2840m.)Then trek to Phakding (2610m.)

We will take a very early morning ride to Manthali to catch our flight to Lukla. Then, we will take an early morning flight to Lukla from Manthali airport. After 30 minutes scenic flight to Lukla, we will Start hiking and will reach Phakding around 3-4 hours of walking. . Overnight at the Guest House and the menu inclusive of Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner.

Day 03: Phakding- Namche Bazar (3440m.)5-6 hours walking

We will wake up with mountain fresh air and scenery. You will be served with warm breakfast. After breakfast, we will set out for the journey to the next destination. At the beginning of the hike, we follow the Dudh Koshi River, going up through Himalayan pine forests and traversing a suspension bridge, will reach Namche after walking for 6-7 hours.
Namche is one of the splendid Himalayan towns, the gateway to Everest. Also, literally known as the administrative hub of the Khumbu region. Charming and impressive settlements offer a glimpse of Everest and other neighboring peaks. Overnight at Guest House and menu inclusive of Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 04: Acclimatization Day (Hike to Everest View Hotel for the panoramic view then return back to hotel) 4-5 hours walk.

After breakfast, our day hike starts to utilize and keep away from altitude sickness. Our destination for today will be to walk up to Everest View Hotel to have the magnificent and legendary view of Mount Everest including Lhotse, AmaDamlam, and many highest peaks. On the way back you can visit the Sherpa Cultural Museum and Everest Photo Gallery as well. Then we will walk down to our hotel. Overnight at Guest House at Namche again and the menu inclusive of Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 05: Namche–Tengboche (3860m.) 4-5 hours walk.

After breakfast, we start our journey to the next destination. Going downhill and walking along with Dudh Koshi River and the view of Mt. Everest awards you while you will be walking on the way. After walking for 4-5 hours, we will be in Tengboche. Our maximum elevation for this trip is 3860 meters; Tengboche. Here, we can explore Sherpa Customs and traditions. The Must seeing place would be Tengboche Monastery, the spiritual center of the Khumbu region. Overnight at the Guest House and the menu inclusive of Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 06: Tengboche to Manjo (2835m.) 5-6 hours walk.

After breakfast, we will get ready to descend down. We will trek down towards Manjo witnessing the beautiful mountains. After walking for 4-5 hours walking, will get into Manjo. Our overnight stay will be at the Guest House and the menu is inclusive of Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 07: Manjo to Lukla(2840m.) 4-5 hours walk.

Today is our last day of trekking in the mountain. We will have a warm breakfast then we will set our trek toward Lukla. After 4-5 hours of walking, will be at our destination. You may take a rest and relax as it will be the last evening in Mountain. Our overnight stay will be at the Guest House and the menu is inclusive of Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.

Day 08: Fly to Manthali and back to Kathmandu(1350m.)

It’s time to say Bye to the home of the highest peaks. We are going to have 30 minutes of the scenic flight back. We will be ready to fly back to Manthali and then drive to Kathmandu. You will be dropped off at your hotel. You may take a rest and go out for shopping time. Your overnight stay will be at the hotel. The menu inclusive of Breakfast and Lunch.

Day 09: Departure

We drive to Airport to see you off. Farewell and have a nice and safe flight back to your home or onward destination. Look forward to seeing you again. Hope you had a wonderful time during your stay in Nepal

    Trekking equipment including sleeping bag and down jacket. (You can rent these things in Kathmandu as well.)

Useful Info

What to pack in your bag?

If you are planning your trip to a Himalayan country you should consider packing some warm clothes. in mountain weather keeps changing, we can find different weather on the same day. Weather in mountains tends to be windy to sunny to wet so we have listed a few things as a checklist for you.

For head:

  • hat or p-cap to prevent the face from sunburn
  • woolen cap to keep warmth
  • scarf or muffler
  • the face mask as a virus precaution and protects your nose from heavy wind
  • sunglasses to protect the eyes and to see better in mountain

For feet and hands

  • warm gloves
  • Sandal and sneakers
  • Thin cotton socks and thick woolen socks

Trekking special items

  • sticks (which you can hire at Thamel, Kathmandu as well)
  • Waterproof thin jacket
  • Windproof down jacket
  • Stretchable and warm trousers

Food during the trek

Any kinds of food are available during the trek. Guesthouses have a menu that consists of both international cuisine and local Nepali cuisine. You can also try new cuisine which you haven’t tried before. Here are a few breakfast, lunch, and dinner options that are commonly found during the trek.

Breakfast

We can have a wide range of options for breakfast such as omelets, bread, cornflakes, cookies, oats, pancakes, milk, tea, coffee, hot lemon, boiled or fried beans, etc. somewhere you get traditional breakfast items such as Gurung bread (famous breakfast in Annapurna region), cell roti, puri, roti curry, etc.

Lunch and Dinner

Traditional Nepali lunch and dinner is Nepali khana consisting of Lentil soup, Rice, curry, pickle, and some salad. There is a famous saying around trekking areas “Dal Bhat power twenty-four hour” which means Nepali khana’s strength remains for twenty-four hours. For instance other than Nepali khana you can have varieties for lunch like; pizza, momo, chowmein, fried rice, noodles, spaghetti, soups, naan roti, etc. lunch and dinner menu look similar you can choose as per your comfort, and preference.
