It’s a ten days package to explore the beauty of the Annapurna region. Trekking in this region feels rejuvenating every other day. Annapurna literally means the mother goddess who fulfills our hunger desire. For this reason, you can see the agricultural fields full of fruits, vegetables, and other biannual crops. In spring the whole forest looks like a glorious art craft. On this trek, you will also have incredible cultural exposure where you will get to know about local villagers. From the Mulde viewpoint, we can see Machhapurche, Annapurna I & II, Himchuli, and many more.

Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival day in Kathmandu.

Upon your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport one of our Airport representatives will be there to welcome you with a lovely Marigold garland.

After that, you will be taken to the hotel by a car. You will get a short briefing about your detail program from tomorrow. You can rest or relax at your hotel room. Overnight stay will be at the Hotel inclusive of breakfast.

Day 02: Drive to Pokhara from Kathmandu by Tourist Bus.6-7 hours drive.

After having early breakfast, you will be taken to Tourist Bus Park to catch Tourist Bus for Pokhara. You will have a scenic drive to Pokhara and will reach Pokhara in 6-7 hours. We will check in at the hotel and get refreshed. In the evening, you can stroll around the Lakeside or may do some shopping. Overnight stay will be at the hotel. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are included.

Day 03: Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Ghandruk. 4-5 hours Trek.

You will wake up to the cool lakeside air in Pokhara. We will have our early morning Breakfast and then take a ride to Nayapul. With the view of the whole Annapurna range, we will reach Nayapul in one hour. We will do an easy hike to Ghandruk. The hiking trail goes up alongside the Marsayangdi River and we then walk through the motor road to Shauli Bazar, then ascend toward Ghandruk-the historic Gurung village. Overnight stay will be at the Guest House in Ghandruk. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are included.

Day 04: After breakfast Trek to Tadapani. 4-5 hours Walk

After getting up in Ghandruk, the first thing you will get to see will be Annapurna south, Himchuli, and Machhapuchre. We will have our breakfast viewing the enchanting beauty of the Himalayas. After having breakfast, we begin to hike up to the next destination. After 4-5 hours of uphill hiking, we will be in Tadapani. Tadapani is also a popular viewpoint of snowy mountains. Overnight at Guest House. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are included.

Day 05: Tadapani to Dobato. 5-6 hours walk

After an early morning breakfast like the previous day, we will start hiking further uphill from Tadapani Village. We will be hiking through rhododendron and pine forests. After approximately 5-6 hours of walking from Tadapani, we reach to Dobato. Dobato will be our tonight’s home. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are included. Overnight at Guest House.

Day 06: Early Morning hike to Mulde View Point and after breakfast Trek to Deurali.

Today is the most awaited day of our trek. In the early morning, we will hike to Mulde viewpoint from Dobato. If we reach before sunrise we can see the gleaming sunlight over the snow-capped mountains. After enjoying the panorama of the mountain we will walk down to Dobato. After having an amazing view, We return back to the hotel for breakfast. Then we will start our journey to the next destination; Deurali. Overnight at Guest House. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are included.

Day 07: Deurali to Ulleri. 6-7 hours walk

From Deurali we will follow the serpentine trekking trail. somewhere we will be stepping on stairs, walking through the jungle, and splendid Himalayan towns are the notable things during your walking. After walking for 6-7 hours walking, will get into Ulleri. Today we will be staying in Ulleri; which is a wonderful village.  Overnight at Guest House. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are included.

Day 08: Ulleri to Nayapul 4-5 hours walk and then drive back to Pokhara.

After breakfast, we start hiking down and walking through the motorway until Nayapul. After around 4-5 hours of walking, we will get to Nayapul, where our car will be waiting to drive us back to Pokhara. Your Evening is free so you can do things as per your choice or just stroll around the Lakeside. Overnight at Hotel. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are included.

Day 09: Drive back to Kathmandu by Tourist Bus.

After breakfast, we will go to Bus Park and drive to Kathmandu by Tourist Bus. After a 6-7 hours drive, you will be back in Kathmandu. Evening, you will have a Farewell dinner at Nepali Authentic Restaurant with a live cultural program. Overnight at hotel. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are included.

Day 10: Departure Day

We drive to Airport to see you off for your onward destination or back home. We hope you had a  beautiful experience traveling Nepal and Annapurna Region. We hope to serve you again soon.

What’s Excluded?

  • Any meals in Kathmandu other than breakfast.
  • Travel insurance.
  • International airfare to and from Nepal.
  • The Nepal Tourist Visa fee is US$ 25 or equivalent foreign currency with multiple entries for 15 days, US$ 40 or equivalent foreign currency with multiple entries for 30 days. You may easily issue the visa upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport – Kathmandu.
  • Items of a personal nature
  • Any kind of alcoholic drinks, hot water, hot shower, cold drinks, laundry, phone call, internet.
  • Trekking Equipment (down sleeping bags and down jackets are available to hire or buy in Kathmandu, which would cost approximately US$ 1 per day per item to hire and US$ 60 to US$ 100 per item to buy).
  • Tipping. ( Tipping is expected not Mandatory)

What to pack in your bag?

If you are planning your trip to a Himalayan country you should consider packing some warm clothes. in mountain weather keeps changing, we can find different weather on the same day. Weather in mountains tends to be windy to sunny to wet so we have listed a few things as a checklist for you.

For head:

  • hat or p-cap to prevent the face from sunburn
  • woolen cap to keep warmth
  • scarf or muffler
  • the face mask as a virus precaution and protects your nose from heavy wind
  • sunglasses to protect the eyes and to see better in mountain

For feet and hands

  • warm gloves
  • Sandal and sneakers
  • Thin cotton socks and thick woolen socks

Trekking special items

  • sticks (which you can hire at Thamel, Kathmandu as well)
  • Waterproof thin jacket
  • Windproof down jacket
  • Stretchable and warm trousers
  • breathable cotton t-shirts and pullovers
  • breathable cotton thermal wear
  • hiking shorts

  • comfortable backpack and duffle bag

Food during the trek

Any kinds of food are available during the trek. Guesthouses have a menu that consists of both international cuisine and local Nepali cuisine. You can also try new cuisine which you haven’t tried before. Here are a few breakfast, lunch, and dinner options that are commonly found during the trek.

Breakfast

We can have a wide range of options for breakfast such as omelets, bread, cornflakes, cookies, oats, pancakes, milk, tea, coffee, hot lemon, boiled or fried beans, etc. somewhere you get traditional breakfast items such as Gurung bread (famous breakfast in Annapurna region), cell roti, puri, roti curry, etc.

Lunch and Dinner

Traditional Nepali lunch and dinner is Nepali khana consisting of Lentil soup, Rice, curry, pickle, and some salad. There is a famous saying around trekking areas “Dal Bhat power twenty-four hour” which means Nepali khana’s strength remains for twenty-four hours. For instance other than Nepali khana you can have varieties for lunch like; pizza, momo, chowmein, fried rice, noodles, spaghetti, soups, naan roti, etc. lunch and dinner menu look similar you can choose as per your comfort, and preference.

Note: If you are vegan or in any diet restriction or allergic to anything, let your trek guide know beforehand.

FAQ

Can I get Altitude Sickness?

That can’t be said, that who gets the sickness and who doesn’t get the altitude sickness. As per the study, the person can get altitude sickness around and above 2200m from sea level.
