Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu
Welcome to Nepal friend, upon your arrival there will be one of our representatives welcome you. He/she will drop you at your hotel and give you a brief preview of our trek from tomorrow. As there are no planned activities for today you may check in the hotel, relax or go roam around your hotel. Your overnight stay will be in a hotel with a breakfast plan.
Day 02: Drive from Kathmandu to SyabruBesi (1462 meters) Duration: 7 hrs
After having your breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel. It will take approximately 7 hours to reach Syabrubesi from Kathmandu. We will head north from Kathmandu, passing through scenic foothills, somewhere pitch, and somewhere ragged road. We will be seeing numerous agricultural fields of mustard, maize, paddy, and vegetables on our way to Dhunche.
Somewhere we will drive along the Trishuli River and from a few points, we can catch a glimpse of Ganesh Himal. As we head further north from Dhunche to Syabrubesi, the weather gets colder. You may need something to cover your ears to stay warm. Our overnight stay will be at a guesthouse inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 03: SyabruBesi to Lama Hotel (2500 meters) Duration: 5 hrs
The first part of the trail passes through the Bhote Koshi River and follows along the Langtang River. This trail gradually climbs to Bamboo, passing through the Landslide area. Afterward, our trek ascends gently to Ramche (2400 meters) through Bamboo (1960 meters) which lies at the bank of the Langtang River.
While ascending to the Lama Hotel area we may see some monkeys, bears, and Red pandas if we are lucky. Tonight’s stay will be in a guesthouse inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 04: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3307 meters) Duration: 5 hrs
Today our trek will initially follow Gumanechok, ‘GhodaTabela’ which literally means ‘the Horse Stable’. After trekking in some high or low terrain, our trail passes through a beautiful valley, with grazing Yaks on the pastures.
Langtang village is one of the historic villages surrounded by the exquisite beauty of nature. The valley offers you a spectacular view around you. Tonight’s stay will be at a guesthouse inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 05: Langtang village to Kyanjin Ri (4773 meters) and back to Kyanjing Gompa (3798 meters) Duration: 7-8 hrs
Our trail today will follow to Sindum and to Yamphu (3640 meters). After passing the Laja Khola on the way, we climb a moraine to a viewpoint where we can see the Kyanjin Gompa and the dramatic icefall flowing from Langtang Lirung.
After Kyanjin Gompa, we will be hiking to Kyanjin Ri (4773 meters) and trekking back to the Kyanjin Gompa. Overnight stay today will be at the guest house of Kyanjing Gompa, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 06: Kyangjuma Gompa Exploration and climb Chorkari Ri (5050 meters) Duration: 7 hrs
Today is for exploring places around and ascending to Chorkari Ri which is the culmination point of our trek. We will ascend from directly behind the village to Chorkari Ri (5050 meters) for a breathtaking panorama of the Langtang peak.
We can also visit the monastery and the cheese factory and the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces. Our today’s stay will be at a guesthouse, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 07: Kyanjin Gompa- Lama Hotel (2500 meters) Duration: 5-6 hrs
From today we will start descending towards the Lama Hotel. We will have magnificent views of mountains towering up which we missed witnessing while ascending. We will walk slowly while soaking in nature’s beauty, mountain air, and beautiful beams of sunlight.
We may get to see various wild birds, animals, and wildflowers. Our overnight stay will be at a guesthouse, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 08: Lama Hotel to SyabruBesi (1462 meters) Duration: 5-6 hrs
Today we will have a comparatively easy trail down to SyabruBesi. Today is all about witnessing nature’s beauty to the fullest and feeling content. Overnight stay at Guesthouse, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included.
Day 09: SyabruBesi to Kathmandu
After breakfast, we will have a scenic ride back to Kathmandu. We may either get a public bus or a private jeep as per the availability. As most of the road is under construction we may have a bumpy ride somewhere.
After 6-7 hours of driving, we will reach Kathmandu Valley, where you will be dropped off at your Hotel. You may spend your evening in Kathmandu relaxing in a hotel room or looking around. Overnight stay will be at the hotel, Breakfast, and lunch included.
Day 10: Farewell
As per your plan, if you are flying back to your country today, one of our representatives will come to drop you at the airport. Or if you have further plans to visit Nepal we will be pleased to serve you again. We will bid goodbye with the hope to meet again. Have a safe journey back home.

What to pack in your bag?
If you are planning your trip to a Himalayan country you should consider packing some warm clothes. in mountain weather keeps changing, we can find different weather on the same day. Weather in mountains tends to be windy to sunny to wet so we have listed a few things as a checklist for you.
For head:
- hat or p-cap to prevent the face from sunburn
- woolen cap to keep warmth
- scarf or muffler
- the face mask is a virus precaution and protects your nose from heavy wind
- sunglasses to protect the eyes and to see better in mountain
For feet and hands
- warm gloves
- Sandal and sneakers
- Thin cotton socks and thick woolen socks
Trekking special items
- sticks (which you can hire at Thamel, Kathmandu as well)
- Waterproof thin jacket
- Windproof down jacket
- Stretchable and warm trousers
- breathable cotton t-shirts and pullovers
- breathable cotton thermal wear
- hiking shorts
- Trekking boot
- comfortable backpack and duffle bag
- Sleeping bag (lightweight and appropriate for zero or below temperature)

Food during the trek
Any kinds of food are available during the trek. Guesthouses have a menu that consists of both international cuisine and local Nepali cuisine. You can also try new cuisine which you haven’t tried before. Here are a few breakfast, lunch, and dinner options that are commonly found during the trek.
Breakfast
We can have a wide range of options for breakfast such as omelets, bread, cornflakes, cookies, oats, pancakes, milk, tea, coffee, hot lemon, boiled or fried beans, etc. somewhere you get traditional breakfast items such as Gurung bread (famous breakfast in Annapurna region), cell roti, puri, roti curry, etc.
Lunch and Dinner
Traditional Nepali lunch and dinner is Nepali khana consisting of Lentil soup, Rice, curry, pickle, and some salad. There is a famous saying around trekking areas “Dal Bhat power twenty-four hour” which means Nepali khana’s strength remains for twenty-four hours. For instance other than Nepali khana you can have varieties for lunch like; pizza, momo, Chowmein, fried rice, noodles, spaghetti, soups, naan roti, etc. lunch, and dinner menu look similar you can choose as per your comfort, and preference.
